Marguerite Centre is a spirituality and conference centre in Pembroke Ont., Canada. We are located in the Upper Ottawa Valley along the Ottawa River.

We provide space for people to explore and learn, balance and grow, through our core work of hospitality.

We are committed to a holistic, ecumenical and inter-religious ministry from a Catholic perspective.

We are dedicated to the values of contemplation and community, earth literacy, the local economy and sustainability. In small, daily ways, we are working toward the transformation of ourselves and our world.

The Table of the Animals by David P. Rogers

This beautiful, hand-carved table of the animals has been recently donated to the Centre by local sculptor, David P. Rogers of Morisson Island. It is gracing our Earth Room and will be a permanent feature of the learning centre that is developing there. Come on by and count the critters!

These are pictures taken from the weekend with Moses Beaver. Moses painted our permanent mural on the wall of the Earth Room.

As we started our renovations, we set aside a room to be the focus of our commitment to earth literacy, sustainability and the local economy. Then we started dreaming about what we could have in the room. So far we have some natural wood pieces coming from local sculptor, David P. Rogers. In October, Moses Beaver will be doing a mural here and in addition, we will be working on developing educational resources...Keep watching...
